About Sikhism
Sikhism is a monotheistic religion that originated in the Punjab region of the Indian Sub-Continent in the 15th century. The word "Sikh" means "learner" or "disciple," and Sikhs believe in the importance of lifelong learning and spiritual growth.
The founding figure of Sikhism is Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who was born in 1469. Guru Nanak taught that there is only one God, and that all people are equal. He also emphasized the importance of social justice and service to others.
Sikhs believe in the importance of living a life of simplicity, honesty, and integrity. They also believe in the importance of helping others and working for social justice.
